Outdoor wedding in Bavaria — what does it really cost?
Honest figures for a wedding with 40 to 100 guests. With a breakdown by line item, regional price ranges, and the things that are most often overlooked.
Three realistic scenarios.

What gets forgotten most often
- Toilet trailer: from approx. €700 for a 60-guest event. Some venues require one; others have their own WCs.
- Power supply & generator: a food truck and DJ rig together can overload existing sockets — €250 to €600 extra.
- Music licensing fees (GEMA): applicable for public performances, approx. €150 to €350 depending on format.
- Event liability insurance: one-day cover runs €80 to €200.
- Guest accommodation: if the venue has no sleeping capacity, nearby guesthouses will need to be block-booked.
